Gitup Remote New Fault & Possible fake microphone

I bought 2 accessories on aliexpress recently. Both branded.

The remote had a broken screw-hole (overtightened at manufacture).

The microphone has a plain rubber outer coating and is **NOT** braided as all the microphones in the reviews show.

These are branded in Gitup packaging. Are they "B" stock/ fakes?

The microphone is fine. It's the same version as on banggood/gearbest/gitup e-commerce sites. Very good sound.

I just got a bad remote. no longer waterproof.
