Wifi app (Android) cannot connect

Hi! Recently purchased the Git2 which I'm absolutely blown away coming from Mobius dash cam.

I've tried Final Cam and FN Cam for Android and even though my phone will connect to the Git2 once the Wifi is enabled, neither app tries but fails to connect.

Firmware is 1.4 (haven't looked at the 1.5 yet). Is there something I'm doing wrong?

some android devices wont connect to a wifi if there is no internet available through that wifi connection, i think there is an overide in the settings.

This is bizarre. When my phone (LG G3 with CM13 ROM) connected to the camera I did get a popup and said to keep the connection. Then suddenly it connected fine to both apps. Maybe a fluke? I was running low on battery for the Git2 so maybe it had something to do with it? In either case it works fine now. Thanks Alistair

Mine celphone can' t have available wifi at range that it wont connect..In my house i have to delete my house wifi from its configurations to work.
