I have installed a new A129 Pro Duo 4k camera in my car. Everything works great, except, the video quality at night is really bad. Extremely grainy like driving in fog. All the headlights of oncoming vehicles over way over exposed as are street lights and reflections of light from street signs. Reviewing video is almost painful to the eyes its so bright.
The bitrate is set to high, but reducing it to medium made no difference. Camera firmware is the latest as is the iOS on my iPhone XR. Viofo app. is v2.1.4.
I don’t have the polarising filter yet but can’t imagine that making much difference at night.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
