Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I recently discovered that the encoding matters for viewing/editing the video on my computer properly.
Since I can change the encoding from H.264 to H.265 with a mic button press on the camera, there is no confirmation feedback, so I can not verify the setting as it is recording. By the time the video is created, it is too late.
Would it be possible to have a line in the app settings for changing how the camera for how the video is encoded? Or some type of feedback from the camera when the mic button is pushed long enough to change that? Ex: "Encoding H.264" or "Encoding H.265"
Both, app and camera feedback, would be ideal.
