Av out recording

hi all I'm wondering if someone can help me please I want to record video from my viofo a129 to my android head unit via the av out cable not via WiFi, I need my WiFi free for something else, I have the viofo app installed on the head unit and have the viofo camera connected to my av in port on the head unit and can see the the video feed no problems but can't seem to record via the viofo app. It only works recording through WiFi, is there something I'm missing I tried a third party android app to record via the av out cable but had no luck

Hello,
Sorry to tell you that the AV cable is just used for video transferring, and it can't control the dashcam recording.

The only way to control the dashcam is by connecting the VIOFO APP via WIFI.
