Distorted reccorded sound

Hy, I'm a gokart racer and I have GitUp G3. I'm having a issue with the reccorded sound when I'm reccording with the camera attached on the gokart front fairing. It seems that the camera mic doesn't couple well with the engine vibration. The reccorded sound is useless (with a lot of distortion). Is there a fix or it's just a limitation of this model?

Hello, sorry for late reply. Could I know if you connect an external microphone to record sound or just use the camera itself to record ?
And can you send a video of you recorded for your checking ? Thanks
