Git2Pro faulty USB port - any help please?

Can anybody help me?

My trusty Git2Pro has developed a faulty USB port. (Batteries can no longer be charged whilst in the camera via usb)

What are my options please? Git2Pro was purchased in August 2016

Yes I now have to use a battery charger for my Git2 Pro but this comes with at least two disadvantages that I can see:

1, Everytime I change a battery I have to reset the calendar time + date!

2, I also use my Git2 Pro as a dash-cam, which means the battery does not last long journey times. I can not stop the car whilst driving to change the battery. In the car I usually have it connected via a USB lead to avoid the battery running out but now as a dash-cam the Git2 Pro is no longer fit for purpose...

Any help please-can my Git2 Pro USB port be fixed???
