I keep getting "Format SD" requests

I've just got the dashcam and when I tried to use it the first time I got asked to format the SD card. I did then it recorded. When I started my car a while later it asked again. I pressed "no" but it kept popping up so I formatted it again. This time I even went into the settings and formatted it with the menu option. But the next time I started my car the problem kept coming. I then took the sd card and formatted it with "SD Card Formatter" to maybe solve the problem but when I inserted it into the camera I got asked to format it again. I did but the next time I started my car it asked again. I did the "Quick format" option with the SD Card Formatter and now my only chance is that the "Overwrite format" option, which takes several minutes, might help but I'm not looking forward to it.

Does anyone experience the same issue or knows a fix?

Hello,

After formatting the card with SD Card Formatter, please download the format tool "Guiformat2" to format the SD card again as FAT32.

If it still doesn't work, we suggest you try a new card, we recommend you use the SD cards of Samsung, VIOFO high endurance series.

The SanDisk cards aren't always compatible with our dashcam.

Sometimes I came up with the same issue, but a quick restart of the camera helped. I have the same SD card in 256 GB.
