Mazda 3 gen 3 with 3 wire Hardwire Kit (no ACC availble)

I got the 3 wire hardwire kit but found out that new mazdas do not have a ACC available in cabin fuse box. I know I could try and get to engine bay fuse box but it seems hard to do (unless someone can point me to a guide for this).

I currently have both the ACC and Battery cable going to a constant on source. Will the hardwire kit still cut power at the specified voltage wired like this?

There's a guy on reddit with a 2017 Mazda 3 and a dashcam that tapped into a seat warmer fuse #4 inside the car for 12V switched. Not sure if you have that option. There should be plenty of mazda owner forums on the net to guide you through running a wire through a grommet into the engine bay fuse box, if you need to go that route.
