V119 v3 camera firmware confusion

I see there is a firmware 4.0 out, but now i'm reading that the 119 v3 camera can do a FAKE 4k with firmware 2.5 !!!!

What am I missing here?

Yes. Per some customers' requests, we did a try on implementing 2880*2160P 30FPS on the V2.5 version through the interpolation.
