is this cam supposed to record 1440p 60fps / 1080p 30fps in dual cam mode?

looking at about 40 files, all the front cam video is 30 fps. I do have the resolution set for 1440p 60fps.

thanks in advance

Yes, the A139 can do 60fps when just 2 cameras are used. Not sure why your not getting it. Are you using the rear camera or the interior camera.

I found how to get 60fps. the setting for 1440p 60 / 1080p 30 will only stick when it is chosen with both cameras connected. if you, like I did, remove the cam from the car and connect it to a pc, the setting is lost and reverts to 30fps for both cameras, so you have to reconnect via wifi and choose the 1440p 60fps setting again. being the sd card slot is in a very inconvenient place, it is easier to remove the cam than try to remove the sd card.
this likely could be fixed with a firmware update. I would consider it a bug.

hope this has helped others.

I wouldn’t consider it a bug. The camera can only give you options based on the connected hardware. Couldn’t you select 1440p @60 for just the front camera when you powered it in your house? It should then automatically add the second camera when connected, but keep the chosen 1440p @60 for the front. If you connected all three cameras, then the front would default to 1440p @30.

that is exactly what I had been doing, but when it is connected back in the car and powered on, it reverts back to 30fps every time even thought the setting was 60fps.

As long as your only connecting 1 camera when you place it back in your car, then I would consider that a minor bug. I'm sure @viofo can look into it for their next firmware update.
