A119 V3 & parking mode using a power bank - clarification please!

I have read quite a bit on these forums as to whether the A119 V3 will turn on and turn off parking mode correctly when using a power bank to power it and I am still not sure. Does it and if so does it require a specific firmware version?
If the A119 does not work correctly do any other current models support it better?

There is a few methods to enter parking mode on A119 (V3 also). There are:

• motion sensor
• g-sensor
• electric signal from ACC (V3 only, with HK3 3-wire kit).

First two will work regardless of power source (car 12V battery or power bank)
The third one can work with power bank, but you have to make your own power cable (that will use microUSB pin4 (ID) connected to car ACC [12V -> 5V] to signal that engine is running.)

I tried to enter parking mode using a power bank. It does not work. It just keep capturing video like in non parking mode. For example if you go to menu, choose parking mode and choose timelapse at 1fps, it does not capture in timelapse. Freaking stupid and hard to work with power bank
