Cheers, I'll give it a go.
Update - the camera doesn't seem to be recognized on PC ?
When plugged in via USB, it gives the option of Mass Storage or PC Camera though.
I must be doing something wrong.

choose pc camera by clicking shutter
then wait quite a long time for windows to install drivers, this is a windows thing, it will take quite a while

Sj5000+ camera had a pc camera mode but that didnt work, lots of people said so, however the git2 pc camera definitely does work.
What operating system do you have?

Thanks for replying Alistair, I'm on Windows 7, 64bit.
It isn't finding the drivers.
Particularly wanted to use it with Skype.
Any suggestions?

do you mean the periscope app? dont think it would work with that
also try camerafi live for livestreaming git2 to various web services.

you can use massstorage and otg to quickly preview videos and pictures from the camera, and from there get footage in to other apps quickly.

i was meaning as an acutal periscope, ie using the pole mount and cage mount and usb cable, hold it up high on the pole and seeing footage on phone.

I have a question, too.
Does "Gyro," anti shaking stabilizer, work on the webcam mode?
