Bootlooping when connecting camera to PC

Has anyone else had this or found a cure? When I connect my camera to the PC to get files it never shows up as a drive, but just keeps powering on and recording for a few seconds, powering off, and repeating. Thanks.

Maybe you have too little power from the USB port on your computer, connect to a different outlet or to another computer. The best way to ripped is to transfer the SD memory card to the reader in the computer.
