Camera wouldn't stop beeping while driving and stopped recording?

I recently purchased an A129 Pro Duo. Yesterday my camera would not stop beeping while I was driving. I tried pressing the menu button to see if that would stop it and after many tries, it finally stopped beeping. But when I got home to look at the recording, the camera had stopped recording from the time it started beeping non-stop.

Why did it start beeping non-stop and what should I do when it does this? Why did it stop recording?

I have a Samsung Pro Endurance 128GB card and have formatted it many times in-camera before.

My camera is hardwired into my car using the official Viofo 3 wire kit.

Camera reached a point on the card where it found a fault or spot that tripped it up. I would recommend formatting it with the SDFormatter program. Be sure to do a full overwrite, not a quick format, then format again inside the camera.

I would think that it being a brand new card I bought for this cam and formatted in the Viofo, the card wouldn't be the issue? Unfortunately, I'm using a Chromebook and this download only supports mac or win. I'll have to try it on another when I have access to one of those computers.

The camera can be picky with memory cards, even two of the same brand and model. FYI, the 128GB card will take awhile to perform the full overwrite with the SDFormatter program.
