Dash cam stops recording

Hello,,

The below video shows the problem, I have to disconnect the camera and reconnect again to start recording. After few hours, It will recording by itself, what could be the issue with?

The camera appears to be in Auto Event Detection Mode. The led is flashing as it is not sensing motion, so it’s not recording.

It's not in hardwired BTW. What could that mean?

Camera can still enter parking mode without the hardwire kit. It will enter parking mode after 5 minutes of no sensed motion.

Are you saying it’s stuck in Auto Event Mode?

I really have no idea, shall I try to switch off parking mode?

I’m not really sure what the problem is your showing in the video. The video shows the camera is in Auto Event Detection Mode. When it’s not sensing motion, then the camera will stop recording and the left REC light will flash. Once motion is sensed again, the light will turn solid and the camera will begin recording again.
If you wave your hand in from of the lens, will it start recording again?
Be sure to update to the latest firmware too if your not already.
