I have had the A129 Pro Duo for over 6 months now, which has been hardwired into my BMW X7.
The camera has been set up to parking mode, however I'm finding that the system is draining the car battery even though its meant to switch off on the 12V setting?

Can someone advise me on the following.
- What are the recommended camera settings I should be looking at for the parking mode?
- Are there any tips with the camera being hardwired - mine was installed by a professional?
- Should I be looking at a separate battery pack rather than rely on the car battery? If so what battery would you recommend and how easy is this to install myself as a basic DIYer?
- I don't want to disarm the parking mode as this is one of the main reasons for buying the dashcam however are there any other ways to avoid a car battery drain?
