Frequency?

I live in Europe (czech rep.). How do I set the frequency? 50 or 60 Hz? Somewhere I read that Europe (systen PAL) is 50 Hz and America 60 Hz for example. Is it true? Thanks.

Yes it's true. The frequency in the 230V mains supply is 50Hz. As you film an image lit with a lamp powered from the outlet, you can see the stripes at the 60Hz setting. Set 50Hz.

Thanks, and at the store I was told that 50Hz is almost not used. They recommended me to set 60Hz. I set 50Hz because it really blinks at 60Hz.
