Git2 record while charging?

Hello!

I have read that you can record while charging on a Git2 camera, but mine fails to do so. Here is what happens:

1. Starts record on Git2
2. Plugs USB charger.
3. Mass storage.PC camera menu prompts, recording stops OR (USB prompt turned off, set it to mass storage/pc camera still recording stops)

Am I missing something?

you arent charging it your using it as a usb device, what are you plugging it in to?

if its in a car, dont plug in to the car usb but rather a cigarette 12v usb adapter instead, this will carry power only and not data
you could also get a usb cable that has data only, or modify one yourself.

If its a laptop/pc usb, then what you describe is exactly what should happen

Wow, I am so dumb not to see it that way. You are on point, I am plugging it on a PC. I tested it now on a battery adaptor, and it is charging. PROBLEM SOLVED. Thank you so much kind sir.
