HK3 Hardwire Kit - Power through GPS base?

I have just purchased an A129 PRO with the HK3 hardwire kit.

Has the GPS base now been updated for parking mode to work properly with the HK3 kit?

Should the connector be plugged in directly to the camera or will it now work plugged into the GPS base?
