Hi, I tried the A129 duo today in good visibility. I reviewed the footage shot at 60fps at max resolution and high bitrate and notice it is incapable of capturing licence plate info at speeds greater than 20 kmph. It lacks clarity to capture the peripheral cars in the next lanes while taking turns or oncoming traffic at slow speeds. Is there something I can do before I go shopping for another brand?

Try to pause the video.

Thanks benkar. I did pause . I used VLC player and played it on a 21 inch monitor... zoomed in with no enhancement.

Are you using a CPL filter? Also, snowfall can affect the quality of the recording. I noticed that you have a smaller and therefore less-readable font on the registration plates - but that's no excuse for the camera.

Make sure WiFi is off and your windshield is clean. Those are some tough condition to judge image quality.

The CPL filter was on. Will try another session without the filter and with wifi turned off.

There is always not easy to get clear registration plates for 1080P, bigger solution like real 4K may help, but not the perfect.
