I had brought two cars to an installer to install my 'A129 Plus Duo' dash cams. In both cars, the Parking Mode did not work. I took a look and discovered they installed the fuse tabs backwards. Apparently, they are used to installing Thinkware dash cams in which the wiring instructions are just the opposite from Viofo.
The Viofo's instructions are to '...connect one wire from your hardwiring kit to a constant fuse (typically red). And the ACC wire is typically yellow.' However, a video for the Thinkware (below) shows the yellow wire goes to the constant fuse slot and the ACC wire is red. Just the opposite.
So don't trust that your installer knows the Viofo's wiring instructions. I reversed the fuse taps and now Parking Mode works.
