Poor night video quality.

My new A129 Pro Duo 4K’s night video is really poor quality, really grainy. Its like looking into fog and oncoming and street lights way over exposed and almost painful to view.

Daylight files are good, its just the night footage that is the problem.

Any suggestions welcome as I’m sure it is just a settings issue. Firmware is the latest, App. is v2.1.4 and my iOS is up to date(iPhone XR).

Could you share a screenshot of your setting and a night video clip? Therefore we can know well the problem and give you a better solution.

Please try to turn off the Exposure in the setting menu.

This is normal. Because in an environment with less light, the dashcam will adjust to high ISO which can cause a strong grainy

Ok, thanks. Makes sense.

I’ll play with exposure settings and see if I can get rid of some of the glare from street lights etc.
