Power Off and On

I have a new A129 Pro Duo which is wired in with the HK3 kit.

When I have parked in my garage I'd like to turn the unit off but dont wish to remove the camera unit too regularly. If I long press the Menu button the user instructions say this powers the camera unit off, so this would seem to be the best way. However, I'd like to know whether it will power itself back on without me long pressing the menu button again? For instance, on ignition start?

Yes, when the ignition is on, the camera will turn on automatically without pressing the power button again.

Thanks. I noticed it changed from solid Red to flashing Red about that time. So I should take my finger off then? I assume because the flashing Red is tidying up the open files?

Correct, once it starts flashing, release the button.
