Recording with Screen off - Settings question

Hey guys
my git2 arrives today and im wondering if it is possible to record a video with the screen off?
If yes, can someone explain it to me ?

Im also wanna ask if the default settings are ok, or do i need to change something for the rest Photo/Video result?

Hi Martz, i didn't find the option to start recording with screen off, but in the settings menu you can set your camera to turn off your display after 1, 3 or 5 minutes of recording. This means that if you set your display to turn off after 1 minut, camera will do it alone after that time, and continue recording normal. If you need during the recording to activate your display again to see if you are recording what you want or for any other reason, you just press recording button again, it will NOT stop your recording it will turn ON your display, and if you want to stop recording then press recording button again. This is realy good solution from GitUp. You can access this settings by turning on your camera, then presing power button 4 times, on the display will be "system settings" you enter them end set how you want your camera to act during recording. You can't access this settings through recording settings meny in wich you enter by pressing wifi button. As for other settings I use default, they are very good, picture quallity is excellent, i just use gyro stabilization, the video is very smooth even if you are jumping, riding the bike on off road... and of course you set resolution as you like...
