Shutter/Select button dead

Hi, My Git2 shutter button started to work only intermittently and then failed completely. Now I have no control over settings and can only operate the camera via the remote. Any suggestions please on how I can get it working again.

Was you able to solve it? I need the camera back to life in less than 2 weeks as I have a long trip and I bought it basically for it

I have left direct messages to GITUP support from various channels. Its been 3 days with no answers other than 1 automated reply to my email. How do i fix this shutter button issue? Is there a warranty to replace my camera? Will support team reply me soon or can anyone offer help? Thanks.

Do you mind open the camera to check the shutter button PCB board connection?

Hi, my shutter button has now completely died. I've opened up the back and can see that the 3 bits of soldering have broken off. I'm not good at soldering. Does anyone know anywhere where I could send it off to be fixed in the uk ? Thanks

Hi, I am facing the same issue as well. Shutter button was working well, then intermittently, and now it does not work anymore. Really love the camera thus far. Hope to hear from the GitUp team, thanks.

I too have the same problem! The shutter does not work at all and my LCD is all white!

How can I solve my problem?

my lcd still works, I would have got the wrist remote to use instead of the shutter button but ironically you need to shutter to set up the remote for the first time

Issue shorted out after some soldering activity to the problematic shuttle button.
Btw. my suspect was my casing which i purchase is too tight for the git up to fit in which resulting in circuit breaks .... wondering if there are anyone in the forum has any recommendation for side open casing - i cant use my underwater casing all the time... wanted the sound for my videos

anyway needed improvement on the hardware from manufacturer in near future products.

Very glad to hear that you have your camera fixed. Do you use the water proof case from GitUp? What model do you use? Right now, only Git2P 90 degree and G3 has a side open case.
