Trying connect to the WIFI on my A129 Pro Due

When I try connecting to the WIFI on my A129 pro . The camera indicates that the WIFI is enabled but, I can't see on my or my wife's phone. It did work for a couples when I first powered it on and updated the settings using my phone. My first attempt to fix the WIFI problem was to update the firmware to version 2.5. The camera's WIFI worked for one day after upgrading the firmware. Here's a list of all the actions I have taken to correct the WIFI problem with no

WiFi connection solutions include:
  • close all running APPs,
  • during APP install accept all permissions,
  • temporarily disable cellphone Data Plan Service,
  • disable smartphone Auto WiFi connect,
  • change WiFi Menu setting from 5 to 2.4 GHz may improve connection,
  • disable GPS to isolate problem.
  • updated firmware to v2.5
Any idea what else I can try? I hate to have to send back to Amazon.
