Trying out the remote camera

For me, the only use I am seeing is to mount the remote cam on the top of my helmet and video another rider following behind. This can be a very good perspective.

BTW, "Quick Capture" does work with the remote camera.

However, the usage above would require the app for aiming and review of footage to make sure the angle is STAYING correct.

This is tricky because you tend to lean forward and the aim goes high instead of low. When I tried this with the main cam, I did not review and most of the footage was of the sky.

I finally got a chance to do an experiment with the remote camera

Hi Mesa9 great video nice vivid colors,and the helping comment realy useful to get the best out the camera and the remote combination.

Just to be picky, it might help other users if we refer to it as the slave cam rather than remote cam
just for when people are searching etc,

as the remote ( which uses bluetooth and isnt out yet) is another device.

I find the word has unpleasant associations so I tend to avoid using it.
