Hi,
I try to use Git2 in a DJI Phantom 2 drone with H4-3D gimbal (suitable for GoPro 4 silver) instead of GoPro 4 silver. This action cam (Git2) although is 18gr lighter than GoPro4 silver (GoPro4 silver is 82gr including battery instead Git2 is 64gr also with battery) but the weight allocation is not the same with GoPro4 silver. This has a small problem in my gimbal at the beginning of initialising but then works pretty good.
I think that the main problem is that if connect the USB AV out in H4-3D gimbal and turn on the DJI Phantom battery instantly Git2 take power from DJI battery and automatically is on. The video in my monitor is TERRIBLE!!!! With a lot of noise and the Git2 wide angle lens convert in telephoto.
I remark that if don’t connect the USB AV out in H4-3D gimbal turn on the DJI Phantom battery then power on Git2 and AFTER that connect the USB AV out in H4-3D gimbal then its OK! But this isn’t comfort!!!
GitUp must find a solution in this problem because I buy this action can to use as FPV with my drone instead of perfect GoPro4 silver but a lot expensive.
All above, with new firmware ver. 1.3 in my Git2.
I write a lot to GitUp (Bill Zhou, technician of GitUp) for this problem but we can’t find a solution.
Exact the same problem appears if connect the Git up HDMI output in a external HDMI monitor. You must FIRST power on Git2 and AFTER you must connect the HDMI cable to Git2. If the HDMI cable is almost connected with external monitor and after turn on the Git2 the image in the monitor is TERBLE!!!! With a lot of noise and the Git2 wide angle lens convert in telephoto!!
