Very Disappointed - Not Automatically Switching to Drive

I believe I am in the right place.
Model: a129 duo pro
3wire kit: yes
correctly installed: yes - multimeter and all that fancy

The issue I am dealing with! From the time that I installed the unit ( jan 5 2021 ) it has been getting stuck in parking mode... day one after hardware and software reset. configure as I desire. the unit works great for the first day.. always goin in and out of parking mode as it should. but after an overnight rest. turn truck on headed to work. The unit stays in parking mode.

I have a HO alternator and a great BRAND NEW battery. so i know for a fact that there is no issues there.


any ideas would be wonderful!

Can someone tell me how to disable parking mode completely?

I have the same problem, I've had dead battery once with my 4 months old SUV, I don't care about the parking, I don't want dead battery, again.

Turn off parking mode in the cameras menu.

I already tried turning off parking mode including time lapse and event detection completely, didn't work. Still thinks I'm driving.

I haven't tried reset, will try this.
