Video Output With GPS Overlay

The A119 series cameras have an A/V out port on the side of the camera that takes a specific format cable. I was finally able to get documentation on the pin-out of the jack and find the necessary cable. I was disappointed to find two things:

1. As soon as you plug in the cable, the screen is deselected and goes blank.
2. There is no GPS data or any overlay on the exported video.

Why? Did it not occur to anyone at Viofo that one might want to take video out, and display it on a larger screen (with all the GPS data) while simultaneously using the tiny built-in display?

Also, on a totally separate topic, is there a forum where can post feature requests/suggestions? One, to which, Viofo actually responsds?

1. When the external display is connected, the camera display turns off - which should not bother.
2. I see all the information on the external display as well as the camera display. It concerns the A129 Duo, but I suppose it will be the same for the A 119.

Have you made sure that gps data is turned on on the overlay
