Viewing files

When I connect my iPad to my camera with wifi to view my files it's very stop and start and The loading wheel is going round and then it starts for a bit and then has to load some more!

Is there something I can do to make it more constant?

Tried using 5 GHZ with my iPhone much quicker!

I have just bought a second card reader this time a genuine Apple product to use with my iPad,but it still tells me there are no files found!
Yet I can download to my PC and view via wifi I was told it was compatible with MP4 Format, anyone else had the same problem and got over
