VIOFO A129 Plus Duo FOV change after firmware update

After updating the firmware to 1.4, it seems that the FOV (field of view) of my camera has changed, even when recording in the same mode.

I record in the 1440P 60FPS mode, and noticed that objects that were not previously in the frame, have now appeared.
Has anyone else noticed that?

Also, in the firmware version it shows the rear camera as V1 - does it mean it did not update successfully?
I did go through the whole "SEND TX/Sending FW" dialog to update the read.

You can check the firmware version on the camera screen. My phone also shows v1.... but not the rest.

The FOV is depending about optics. It's impossible to change it. It is only possible by postprocessing, ie by cropping the video, but I doubt this is the answer.
