There is also FN Cam (final cam) that work's OK with the Git2. In the near feature we will also receive a GitUp official app.

trying Finalcam, work but don't have all option of Git2 like 2K or other and we can't setup cam from app.

Final cam is a general use live preview app, it's mostly used for triggering the camera to record and take pictures and it enables viewing and downloading the files from your camera on the mobile phone. Because it's not a specific app made for a specific cam the options that can be set up are limited.

Hi.
I'm using Git2. It's great camera and I like it.
But I have the problem about wifi connecting.

I can't connect my Git2 and iPhone6(iOS9.2) with FinalCam.
When I try to login my Git2 with Finalcam, Finalcam terminate abnormally everytime.
Can anyone connect Git2 and iPhone with FinalCam?

(Before I try it, I confirm that my Git2 and iPhone in themselves are connected. Wifi logo on Git2 display is green.)

From a conclusion, I have suceeded to connect my Git2 and iPhone6 with NovaCam (mobile app for iOS) .

Though I reinstalled FinalCam, It didn't work.
So I tried to use the alternative app. It works well.

WIFI Issue:

I just got the GIT2, installed latest firmware 2015-12-24. I put in my memory card and formatted. I turned on the camera and adjusted settings for US - 60mz, NTSC.
I placed camera in snapshot mode. I took a few snapshots.

I placed the camera in snapshot mode. I pressed and held the settings/wifi button for at_least 3 seconds. Camera is placed in snapshot settings mode and will not start wifi mode to turn on wifi. No wifi led blinking, nor screen indication icon.

What am I doing wrong? Please help. I'd like to connect to the Novacam app until the GIT2 app is completed (iOS).

Camera must be idle to start the WiFi.

I didn't understand "idle" but determined camera mode must be in "video mode" to start wifi and cannot be in "snapshot mode".

Battery depletes _very_ quickly if you try to download snapshots using wifi.

If you power the camera without a battery, then you are able to download snapshots - but (using Novacam) could not complete download of even small videos.

Seems the only reasonable way to get files off the camera is to remove the memory card and upload to a computer.

Question: How well will the card slot last with daily removal and insertion of the memory card?

Question: Is there a better way?

I'm using the provided USB cable and connect the camera to my PC, much more faster and the battery will also charge.
