I'm having the same issue. It has been on internal wiring (through GPS mount) and working fine for well over a year. Tried taking it out and powering it via side USB with the same results. Tried multiple memory cards and USB power sources, and without any memory card. Every time it's powered, it just gets to the Viofo logo screen and you can hear the startup sound looping over and over again. Tried a couple firmware versions, including the latest 2.5. It seems to do the firmware updates, as it flashes the light as it should during update, and then the file is missing from the card after, but it still just keeps getting stuck on the Viofo logo splash screen and looping the startup sound endlessly. It sounds like the only answer at that point is it needing repair?

May I know if you're using the HK3 hardwire kit or the provided car charger? Please use the latter for a try. And powering your A129 Duo from the USB port is most recommended.

After changing the dashcam, please press and hold the R button(on the camera body side) for about 5 secs to reset the dashcam.
