Audio Hiss internal and external recording Git1

Hello I may have missed a thread in which case point me to it. Hiss on all recording. Setup the external mic ( standard one for the Git) tested that and it working however all sound on the internal or the external mic has a hiss. It is constant, low level. Faulty camera? Faulty operator. Anyone have any experience of this?

Hello and thanks for that. Since posting I came to the conclusion it is my playback not the camera. I think it records better sound than my laptop can handle. I am looking for an upgrade.Appreciate the response though. newbie mistake
