I have a problem with VIOFO A129PRO-G DUO and HK3.

Camera is working fine recording with the car icon when driving, switching to parking mode when engine and door is locked changing to P icon. But working only about 30 minutes in that state. Then the HK3 turn off the camera or camera turn off. I have 1.1 version installed, camera is set up as low bitrate and HK3 is connected as it should. Yellow ACC only when engine is on, RED battery always power, black ground. When the camera is off when i check if there is a power in cable battery for HK3 and there is. I check if there is a power from HK3 to camera and there is. The camera is not working :/
Try lowering the low voltage cutoff. Sounds like your reaching the cutoff point and the kit is shutting down the camera.

No when i check the acumulator it have 12,28 so its not possible it should cutt off like that. The HK3 is set up to 11.80. And when i check the HK3 power cable that goes to camera it still give 12V power :/

How are you checking for power from the HK3? Are you using a multi meter at fuse you tapped or are you trying to use a probe at the miniUSB connector?

That is an extremely small space. I would measure the voltage at the tapped fuse to ensure you reading the correct feed.

I checked the fuse where the HK3 red cable is connected and after 4 hours it still give 12V. As i said when the camera turn off on parking mode when i mesure the cable that goes from fuse to HK3 it still gives 12V. So the problem is HK3 or the camera.

Is the battery voltage above the threshold? How many volts does the battery show?

Battery show 12.28V.

I noticed something strange when i go to work (about 30 min) the camera sometimes not always turn off and turn on like reset.
I am using SAMSUNG EVO Plus 128GB MicroSD MB-MC128GA

Ok new stuff that i manage to check is:

On Camera A129 pro DUO software 1.1, record 1 min, low bitrate (parking mode).

When in parking mode when camera shut down the red diode on HK3 turn off. But the power in RED cable (battery) that is from fuse to HK3 is still 12.32V. So this shows the power from fuse to HK3 is all the time. I will try to connect the red cable from HK3 directly to car battery to be sure there is no power cut off for a second to HK3.

If red LED inside the HK3 kit is off, then either the fuse for the red wire has shut off power (or did at some point) or the HK3 kit sensed voltage below the cutoff setting. Of coarse it's always possible the kit is defective as well.

Btw i checked some other stuff when the acc is on the pin that is in usb mini gives 5.17V when the acc is off and the camera goes to parking mode on pin there is 5.17V. When HK3 red LED is off on pin there is 7.4V. But info from Polish reseller they say its normal.

This doesn't make sense to me. Do you know which pin is giving you 7.4V? Is it from the red or yellow wire? I'm not sure probing the contacts in the miniUSB is helpful unless you know what each contact does and that your not touching other contacts at the same time (you need some very small probes to do this accurately). There is a diagram of the wiring for the miniUSB, but don't know where it is off hand.

I have a very small needle probe so i can check it. Only one PIN send power so it's easy to check what V it have when HK3 acc is on, off or HK3 trun off the power for camera. Btw i am checking if the HK3 will trun off the camera when the red (battery) wire is connected to the car battery.

Both red and yellow send power. Yellow is simply a trigger wire, but does have voltage present when connected properly (should only have power when accessories are on and things are wired correctly). I don’t recall what the voltage is supposed to be though.

The connection i made is correct red cable always voltage, yellow when the engine is on ACC, black ground.

Did you connect ground to the factory ground near the fuse box? If not, it’s worth trying to move it there. Poor ground could certainly cause the behavior.

The yellow (ACC) wire as well as the red (permanent +) voltage should be about 12 V, not 5 or 7 V. This is somewhere wrong connection or ground. In my opinion. Or the HW kit is defective.
He's measuring after the HK3 kit, so 5V would be correct.
