Git2 - Start Stop button - Not working

Hi Folks

I hope you can help.

I have been using my Git2 over the last few weeks. Very happy with it.
However today i was using it in the waterproof case. Its worked perfectly in it before.

However today after a while the shutter start/stop recording button has stopped working. Pressing the button does noting. it does not start or stop a recording or take pics.

It seems that the button has stopped working or has malfunctioned. possibly a hardware problem.

Can you help. i have had this camera less than a year

Also having the same problem. have only had the camera for a couple months, and have only used it a few times, so I am really hoping to find a resolution and fix the problem :-(
