Upgrading firmware: any risks to know beforehand?

Hi, I'm new to the Gitup Git2P 90º camera, and I've seen this new firmware which has some cool implementations like the possibility of zooming while filming or no frame drops in 1080P 60fps mode. Anyway, before taking any risks, is it safe to upgrade to this firmware? Anybody has done it safely? Mine is GIT2P_V1.0.1_0327, and I want to install GIT2P_V1.1_20171014.zip. Thank you.

Hi, you could update. No risk, if you don't like it, you also could downgrade it to the previous one.

I would prefer to install the newer V1.72 instead of 1.71

Is that firmware for the Gitup Git2P too or only for the Git2?

This firmware is only for sony sensors. The Git2P has a panasonic sensor.
